Drop 1 mg of your sample and observe the color at 15 minutes. After this time, the color will begin to fade and darken, making interpretation difficult. Grind your pill into a fine powder. If it is a 10 mg tablet, 1/8 of it, approximately 1 mg, is sufficient. The test is calibrated to detect small amounts, so adding more may affect the results.
